13 - Chapter Thirteen - Quinn Wolfin's Point Of View.

I looked into Forest's future. The other Elder said that I had been giventhe young women's powers when she died. She gave them to me. Shesaid it would take time to understand how to use the powers and gifts Ihad been given and not to stress out too much if I didn't get it rightaway.

Forest had his arm around a much smaller Thanatos, Forest had grownto be a tall handsome man. I saw the children that circled Thanatos andForest, I watched as Kane handed his alpha title to Forest and I handedmy Luna title to Thanatos. They looked great together, they hadchildren and more on the way. This was apparent by the small bumpthat was Thanatos baby belly. I couldn't say that I was not happy withthe vision it made me happy that Thanatos and my son would bealright together, I watched as my father approached me and spokesoftly.

"I told you! They would be alright together Quinn, you worry so muchdear it's not good for the baby and you know you and your child arethe top concern for Kane,” my father said placing his hand on my belly."I'm sorry father, I was worried for my child and Kane worries far toomuch. I swear he forgets I to am a man.”

My father laughed wholeheartedly and then spoke to Luanne his mate.My father had given his pack to me and Kane to present to Forest andThanatos as a gift for a coming of age present. I watched as myyounger brother ran beside me, Arrow following behind him like amother bear. Luanne gave me brothers and a family to be proud of, Iforgave her and welcomed her as my mother.

The colours of my vision began to fade I was being shaken awake, Iopened my eyes and saw Kane he was clearly worried about the factthat I was sleeping on the kitchen floor.

"Quinn are you alright, I've been looking for you all day, Have you anyclue what time it is?" He said his voice shaky and uneven, he huggedme tightly and inhaled my scent to calm his wolf.

“I'm sorry, I was visiting the elders they gave me a gift to make thingseasier to live with, They said I was given the Forest's mother's powerswhen she burned me,” I mumbled laying my head on his shoulder andbreathing in his calming scent.

"It's alright mate,” Kane said setting me on a chair before making me acup of coffee and a sandwich. I watched as Kane bent down and pickedsomething up, he told me to hold my hand out so I did it was myMoonstone.

"Don't lose that elder Quinn, Its important” Kane said kissing myforehead softly. I ate my sandwich and drank my coffee. Kane and Iwalked to check on Forest and we saw Thanatos with Forest, I couldsense Kane about to growl, I hit his chest lightly and shook my head no.We walked into the room and watched Thanatos rock Forest to sleep.Thanatos placed Forest in the crib and turned around and jumped backstartled to see us. I walked up to Thanatos and threw my arms aroundhim in a hug and whispered thank you into his ear, and pulled awayand walked back to Kane.

"Have a good night Thanatos, sleep well."

Kane and I walked back to the room we had been given by my parents,I confessed seeing Forest's future and told him everything I saw I watchas his smile told me he was pleased with the future for our son, I leftout the part about the future child I saw. That part would remain asurprise to everyone. Kane pulled back the bedsheets and we got intobed, he pulled me beside him and spoke

" We have to go home tomorrow, as much I like it here, I have alphaduties that are hard to get done 250-300 miles from the pack,” he saidsmiling

"I can't wait to get home, I miss our bed and our pack family,” I startedsmiling. Our future looked good. But tomorrow was going to be onehell of a drive back to our pack.
