17 - Chapter Seventeen - Atlas’ Point Of View.

Today marked the day I was officially five and a half months pregnant. Ionly had a month and a half more before I would see my mates. MyParents and The boy's parents were planning many things, they wereplanning a new date for the crowning and a baby shower. It made mehappy to see how deeply they were invested in their babies.

The boys were gone when I woke up this morning but I couldremember them saying they had a busy day today and they wouldn'tbe home until after six. I wondered if Fallon would want to hang out. Icalled his number and it only rang once before someone picked it up."Hello, Who's this?"

The voice on the other end of the phone didn't sound like Fallon, itsounded broken and joyless.

"Fallon, its Atlas..."

" Hey Atlas, Can we hang out maybe?"

"Sure that's why I called.”

"Can you come to get me... My dad won't let me do anything..."

“I'm on my way, don't worry ill rescue, you my brother.”

"See you when you get here."

Fallon was pregnant with an Alpha Child and not by choice. Fallon wasborn mateless. His father took that as an opportunity to breed and tryto marry him off to an Alpha with a nasty reputation. Even my parentsdidn’t like him. Fallon was a week farther along than me and he was nothappy. I tried to show him the goodness in the joy he was carrying buthe didn't feel the same. Honestly, I didn't blame him for not wanting toaccept the goodness he was carrying.

He didn't hate the baby inside of him, he hated the baby's father.

I grabbed my car keys and went to look for Emerald. When I found himhe was making dinner.

"Hey Emerald, could--"

"Holy Fuck, you scared me."

"Sorry Emerald I really didn't mean too."

"Anyways what were you saying, dear?”

"I was going to ask if Fallon could come over.”

"Of course dear, that boy is always welcome over.”

I needed someone to vent to about Fallon’s ongoing problems andEmerald was the only one I felt I could tell, Fallon knew I told Emeraldand he was alright with that as long as Emerald kept the details tohimself.

I walked to my car and drove to Fallon’s house. Fallon was standing onthe porch yelling at a larger man who I knew... Alpha Cillian Demetri. Iparked my car and walked up onto the porch of the packhouse. Cilliansnarled as soon as he saw me. I wasn't his favorite and he wasn't mine,but I was willing to act civilly for Fallon and that was it. End of story."Leave, Fallon's not going anywhere he never asked me or his father.”"I'm sorry but that's where you are wrong Cillian, Fallon is coming withme and you are going to fuck off and stop controlling him."

Fallon looked like he wanted to cry, Cillian had his hand wrapped tightlyaround Fallon's wrist. There would be a hand-print.

"My pup is going nowhere with you.”

That made me snap my friend was worth more than the pup inside ofhim. I felt my wolf push me under the surface as my wolf took control." Fallon is worth more then the pup in his womb, If you can't see thatyou don't deserve the pup he is forced to carry, you are nothing morethan a beast.”

Cillian and I were less than a foot away from each other when I snarledin his face. Cillian began to laugh. I didn't replace this at all funny, not atall.

"Your Kane and Quinn's pup, Atlas isn't it?"

I pushed my wolf back and took control.

"Yes, I am Atlas Dawson, Luna to be."

"Take Fallon. Bring Him and My pup back safe.”

Fallon pulled his wrist from Cillian's hand and ran down the porch. Iturned to leave when Cillian spoke again. I cringed and didn't want toeven respond to him at all.

"Tell Fallon I'm sorry about his wrist, Please don't let anything happento him. Bring him back around dark--"

"I'l have back before six, try not to worry too much, he is safe with me.”I turned and walked off the deck, I swore for almost a moment I couldsee the worry and fear in his eyes. I got back in the car and Fallon wasimmediately in my face.

* Atlas what did Sir Snarls say?"

I couldn't even speak because I was laughing so hard. Fallon began tolaugh as well. I couldn't believe he called him Sir Snarls, that wasfucking great.

"Sir Snarls-- Ha ha ha "

"Atlas really what did he say?"

"He said sorry about your wrist and that he wants me to bring youhome safe.”

"All he cares about is this fucking pup... I wish he would love me...""Give him time Fallon, I saw it in his eyes the fear and worry."

I drove us back to Lucca and Emerald's house. Fallon seemed tobrighten up when he saw where we were. Emerald and Lucca treatedeveryone like their children and I think that's why everyone adored him.He just carried so much for everyone. It was hard not to like Emerald.He was so damn likeable.
