Alpha Daddy -
Chapter 28
"There was more than one?" Caleb growled breathing through his nose.
"Two. A male and a female." I nodded wincing as Jackson injected me. "They used a heavy bane." He sighed throwing away the needle into the container.
"I'm going to replace them. And I will make them pay for the pain they're putting you through baby, I promise."
The look on his face was murderous and it terrified me. But before I could say anything someone burst through the door.
"Babe, what are you doing here! I've been looking for you for hours!" I shut my eyes and slowly shook Caleb's hand off of mine. Sarah. How could one foolish dream make me forget that the man that was supposed to be my soul-mate, was engaged.
"Sarah. What do you want?' he growled out.
"Miss Belle needs to rest. Please step out." Jackson gave me a sympathetic glance before glaring at the couple besides us. I could hear Caleb give Jackson a threatening growl but Jackson didn't submit. He walked over to the door and opened it, raising his brow while motioning for them to leave.
I would've laughed if I didn't feel like I was about to cry. I was so tired of crying. How was it even possible for someone to cry as much as I have. It was truly pathetic.
"You're only the doctor Jackson. We could easily replace you with someone less pathetic." Sarah spat throwing her blonde hair over her shoulder.
"Get out." I growled glaring at the blonde girl in front of me. "And don't you ever speak to him like that again. Ever." My wolf added.
Jackson sent me a proud smile, just like Caleb. While Sarah gaped at me like a fish out of water. "Who the hell do you think you are!" She screeched sending me a murderous glare. "The rightful Luna." I smirked crossing my arms across my chest. "Don't even try to deny it Laney. You can feel Caleb and my bond. But you're in denial. You don't want to give up the power." My wolf's voice broke through calling out to Laney - Sarah's wolf.
"He's marrying me Rosette. I don't think the bond is very strong. But you only have yourself to blame." Laney's sickening sweet voice came through. I flinched realizing it was true. She had him. They were going to be wed soon. They were going to would have pups, where he would actually be there to see them grow.
"The wedding's next month by the way. We would love for you to come, with the twins of course. I want to meet those little ... children. My soon to be step-kids." She smirked before making her way out of the door.
don't let her have the last word!
I cringed back feeling the anger coursing through my wolf.
We've lost Rose. Let it go. Let him go.
I begged.
"Aria- get out." I begged looking down At my blankets. I didn't want to look at Caleb. If I did I would remember my dream. The possibility of us having another beautiful pup. Of being a family. But that was impossible.
"Alpha Caleb please leave." I insisted forming a fist. I was fighting off my wolf who was begging, threatening, pleading for me to let her come to the surface again. To make him see we were mates. Not him and Sarah. All she was, was a power hungry she-bitch. Just as she was in high school.
You truly are pathetic Ariana.
Then she was gone. Leaving me to deal with an angry and confused Caleb.
"You have to listen to me Ariana!" He growled grabbing my face, turning it to face him. "I don't want to listen to your voice anymore! All you bring me is pain and heart breaks! You're still a foolish little boy! You think everything is a game - but it's not. Not peoples feelings, not mine and defiantly not the twins!" I blurted before shoving his hands away from my face. I could feel the familiar tingles where our skin met making me squirm in my bed.
I craved him so much. But I him. I hated how he could make me fall for him with a single glance, a single word. I hated how he was engaged, how he played me.
"I'm not leaving." He sat across from me glaring a hole into my head. But I ignored him and focused on an awkward Jackson. I sent him an apologetic smile before turning to look out the window. I hated this place. This town.
"Mommy!" I sniffled away the on coming tears and turned to face the two people I was waiting to see.
"Joey, Zoey!" I chocked out sitting up quickly. I motioned for them to come and that's all it took for Zoey to rush forward into my arms. We were so scared mommy!" Zoey blubbered out into my chest while I ran my fingers through her long chocolate brown hair. "I'm here baby. I'm okay." I smiled lifting her into my bed. I let out a small whimper making all three of the males to flinch towards me. "I'm fine." I smiled at a nervous Jackson, ignoring Caleb's worried stare that was glaring down at me.
