Chapter 93:

Despite Brixton’s reputation as a playboy, his considerable fortune was substantial enough to rival the wealth of the entire Juarez family.

This fact wasn’t lost on Liliana, explaining her consistent attempts to suck up to him even after seeing through his true colors. Liliana saw in Brixton a golden opportunity to leverage his status for her schemes against Harlee.

Didn’t Harlee think the Sanderson family was beyond reach, that no one would dare cross her? Liliana was determined to shatter that illusion. Soon enough, Harlee would pay dearly for her arrogance.

She couldn’t wait to see how far the Sanderson family’s pride could carry them after Harlee’s purity was shattered by a group of old men.

“I can’t wait to see her downfall,” Liliana murmured with a spiteful sweetness, her voice dripping with anticipation.

“Alright then,” Brixton responded, his tone resolute as he buttoned up his shirt and stood, ready to orchestrate Harlee’s downfall.

After a while, the door to the suite where Harlee was seated burst open abruptly, startling the merrymakers inside, who were none too pleased by the sudden invasion of their space.

“Who might you be? Don’t you know who practically owns this place?”

“You’d better fuck off! Once Mr. Torres gets here, you’re in for it!”

Conversations swirled around the room, a blend of male and female voices adding to the clamor—except for Harlee.

Harlee remained seated, an oasis of calm amidst the burgeoning storm, her eyes hinting at the anticipation of the unfolding drama.

“Who dares to think they can make me leave?” Brixton questioned, his voice slicing through the chatter with icy authority.

His piercing gaze swept over the crowd, quelling any thoughts of defiance.

At Brixton’s imposing presence, the once defiant guests quickly subdued, retreating to their seats in silent acquiescence.

Harlee’s frown deepened as she watched the room give in so effortlessly. She then rose, a playful smile tugging at her lips as she made her way toward Brixton.

“Quite interesting, crashing your own party,” she remarked.

Harlee knew this confrontation was designed just for her, and shying away from it was out of the question—not when it promised so much excitement.

Besides, she had come for this very face-off.

It had been ages since Brixton encountered a woman with such radiant vitality, particularly one bold enough to confront him. With just a glance at Harlee, he found himself utterly captivated. Liliana, moments ago the center of his attention, suddenly lost all her allure.

Liliana’s thoughts, consumed with schemes against the striking Harlee, painted her as nothing short of villainous. More importantly, Brixton felt no charm of Liliana’s could hold a candle to the breathtaking allure of Harlee! What intrigued him even more was that Harlee stood unafraid before him, presenting a challenge that he found irresistibly captivating.

“Harlee? The recently returned heir of the Sanderson family?” A teasing grin spread across Brixton’s face as he urged, “Why not join me for a drink?”

Liliana bristled with suspicion. She knew all too well the meaning behind Brixton’s charming smile.

Harlee, that shameless woman, was aiming to take her man!

“Mr. Torres, be careful around my cousin,” Liliana warned, a sharp glint in her eye.
