Greta and her friends checked the security footage, but all they saw was a woman wearing a hat and a mask, accompanied by a few young troublemakers.

Greta thought the woman's figure seemed familiar, but she couldn't quite place where she had seen her before.

The commotion they caused was too big to keep under wraps, and naturally, people took notice.

Phineas, who had been keeping an eye on these events, found out immediately.

Morwenna had been kidnapped, but not by his people. The more Phineas thought about it, the angrier he became. In a fit of rage, he decisively sent more people to search for Morwenna.

The entire Rosefrost Hollow family clan quickly learned about the search for Morwenna. Back when Norbert was in good health, he had taken Morwenna to private gatherings and personally asked a few elders to look out for her.

Now, with Morwenna kidnapped, these families organized their own search efforts to help replace her. Morwenna's friends-Lorna, Keira, and the group that included Barclay-also sprang into action.

That night, Rosefrost Hollow was anything but calm. Some blogger posted online about Morwenna's kidnapping, and suddenly even ordinary people knew that the recently talked-about "Lucky" had been abducted.

Morwenna had unexpectedly inherited a fortune, and the public, unaware of the details, had dubbed her "Lucky." The internet buzzed with speculation.

"See? I told you, that money isn't going to be easy to claim."

"An orphan with no support, having a fortune drop in her lap is nothing but trouble."

"Let's keep an eye on this and see how it unfolds. It looks like plenty of people are trying to replace Morwenna. I wonder if they'll succeed? Maybe we should help with the search-who knows, we might get a reward."

"Come on, stop sleeping, let's go replace Lucky!"

As the night deepened, it seemed the whole town was stirred into a frenzy.

Meanwhile, Adelaide and her group were hiding in an old neighborhood house. The owner was tied up and locked away. They had fled anxiously and were now simmering with frustration.

"Adelaide, didn't you say it was just grabbing a woman, that there wouldn't be any trouble? Look at the situation now. It feels like all of Rosefrost Hollow is on our tails. Even the geeky guy living here recognized us and wanted to report us."

"Yeah, every road we checked is blocked and being patrolled. We're like rats in a trap. How do we get out of this?"

"And what about the person we kidnapped? She's still unconscious. What if she dies on us?"

"Adelaide, stop sulking. You've gotten us into this mess, so figure it out. You're the one who wanted her kidnapped. We might just leave you to clean up the mess."

Adelaide's face was dark with frustration. She hadn't anticipated things blowing up like this. Her plan had been to quietly take Morwenna away. Then, whether contacting Yara or dealing with Morwenna, it would have been easy.

But who would have thought it would turn into this fiasco? Why did so many people care about this woman?

Adelaide kept trying to call Yara, but at first, there was no answer, and then the line went dead. She was so furious she wanted to smash her phone. Yara, the fool-where could she be at a time like this?

Unbeknownst to Adelaide, Yara was in a hospital operating room. After a fall, her baby, only seven months along, was being delivered prematurely.
