Fletcher had brought along a cell phone with a signal booster, specifically to maintain contact with the outside world. Previously, when they barely had any reception, it was this phone that managed to pick up a signal.

Now, news from the outside world reached Fletcher immediately. Under normal circumstances, he might have ignored it until morning, deciding to deal with everything once they returned. But this time, it was different. Morwenna was in trouble.

Fletcher's exclamation roused everyone from their slumber. Stuart was the first to react; the moment he heard Morwenna's name, he was on his feet, ready to go. An air of dangerous determination hung around him, like a predator ready to tear apart its prey.

The usually reserved Stuart spoke, his voice firm, "I'm going back tonight."

Jack couldn't help but interject, "Traveling through the wilderness at night is too dangerous. It's not safe."

Stuart repeated with unwavering resolve, "I'm leaving now. We have the coordinates, and I won't lose my way. As for the dangers along the route, I'll replace a way to handle them. You can leave at dawn."

Fletcher immediately objected, "No way, Stuart. You're in no condition to make this journey alone. Even if we all go together, you might not manage. How can you do it by yourself?"

Jack agreed, voicing his concerns as well. But Stuart was unyielding; he was determined to return, no matter what. Morwenna had been kidnapped, possibly by Phineas. Since Stuart had acquired his shares in the Hetfield family, he'd faced countless kidnappings and assassination attempts. The Hetfield family would stop at nothing for profit. Besides, with Morwenna holding twenty percent of the shares, she seemed a much easier target than Stuart.

Steeling himself, Stuart packed some essential items and medicine. Slinging his backpack over his shoulder, he prepared to leave.

Fletcher, ready to risk it all, declared, "I'm going with Stuart. Jack, you bring Dr. Thompson tomorrow." Allowing Stuart to leave alone was akin to sending him to his death. Not only was the journey treacherous, but with Stuart's injuries, he might not even make it without a doctor.

Seeing their determination, Jack knew persuasion was pointless. He added sternly, "A delicate doctor and an injured man won't make it without me. Fine, let's travel at night. I'll lead the way."

With everyone ready to depart, only Edmund remained asleep. These brothers shared a bond forged in life-or-death situations, and they didn't hesitate to take risks together. But they couldn't drag Edmund into danger without his consent.

Just as they wondered who should wake Edmund, he emerged from his tent, yawning and carrying his medical kit. He couldn't resist teasing them, "I'm cursed, aren't I? Instead of a peaceful life, well-fed and resting, I'm out here with you, losing sleep and working hard. Why are you all standing around? Let's move. No need to pack the tent. It'll be easier to travel without it."

At their pace, they could exit the wilderness in a few hours, so the tent was unnecessary. Stuart looked at them silently. Fletcher, with a wry smile, said, "Stuart, don't try to dissuade us. If we feared danger, we wouldn't have come to replace you in the first place."

Indeed, venturing into the wilderness to replace Stuart meant risking everything. Stuart didn't argue further.

Unbeknownst to anyone, a group was making their way through the wilderness under the cover of night. Outside, chaos ensued. Greta and her team were using every resource to replace Morwenna. The entire perimeter of Southshore Estates was locked down, with every passing vehicle meticulously checked.
