Chapter 12:

Sara left the party with a desire to commit murder. She had been martyring herself for days for breaching the marriage contract, but it turns out that the person she had been unfaithful to was her own husband after all. And as if the situation couldn’t get any more ridiculous, her own husband was kicking her out of her party.

She walked out to catch the bus while cursing in her head the great idiot Hugo Moretti. At that moment her phone started ringing in the small handbag, she took it out and saw that the contact was Exesposo, she immediately hung up the call, but he didn’t give up and called back again and again until she answered.

“I already left the party, what more do you want”.

“Come back” she ordered.

“Yeah sure, so you can embarrass me again, is that why you want me to come? You haven’t laughed enough at me, until when do you plan to keep on having fun” on the other end of the line Hugo put his fingers on his nose septum and threw a murderous look at poor Alejandro.

“I didn’t know it was you come back let’s talk about divorce”.

“Divorce Ja” laughed Sara” you know what, I changed my mind, I don’t want a divorce anymore. why would a smart woman divorce a handsome rich man? I think I’m going to enjoy being Mrs. Moretti a little more” Sara finished speaking and hung up the call and smiled scheming a plan to take revenge on her beloved husband.

Hugo massaged his temples after seeing that she had hung up on him again, he had never in his life dealt with such a difficult woman. He looked at Alejandro, took a deep breath to lower his stress and trying to sound calmer spoke to him.

“If you knew she was my wife; why didn’t you say so before?”

“Because I saw you approach her and I thought you already knew.”

“I approached her because she is the woman I spent the night with at the hotel. You hadn’t checked her out.”

“Yes, but I didn’t see any pictures of her, only when I researched your wife and when I saw her come in today, I didn’t think they were the same person.

Hugo stood silently analyzing and the situation and the latest events, he had been married to that woman for three years and she had never taken the initiative to see him or get close to him, every month she put a generous sum of money in his account and that had been enough, but now he wondered why all of a sudden she wanted a divorce.

He didn’t have to think much to replace the solution, they had slept together that night in the hotel and she didn’t know his real identity, so she had slept with a stranger, that’s why she wanted a divorce, Hugo remembered that when he read the contract his lawyer had added an infidelity clause, therefore, if she was unfaithful, she would have to pay him. That was the real reason for the hasty request for divorce.

Hugo could not believe how shameless that woman could be, she was unfaithful and to cover her fault she asked for a divorce and in spite of all that, she was upset because she was expelled from the party.

“I must teach that treacherous woman a lesson” he sentenced.

“Sir, technically she didn’t get to be unfaithful to you, because she slept with you.”

“That doesn’t matter, she didn’t know that, to her understanding she slept with the first stranger she saw and didn’t care to think about her husband.”

“But sir you for three years you sleep every day with a different woman”.

“And you, who asked for your opinion, stop meddling where no one is calling you, do something useful, investigate my wife, everything she does or doesn’t do, who she meets, I want to know if she has other lovers” Hugo kept silent and remembered that she had been a virgin and then continued “investigate how she spends the money I give her every month and where she lives, I think my grandfather had given her a villa, but I don’t know where, I never went”.

Alejandro opted for silence and not to speak again, while Hugo continued lost in his thoughts, planning the right way to make this woman pay for her infidelity. He hated that kind of women and to his bad luck he had been married to one, for three long years, and so his grandfather defended her and inflamed her.

Sara arrived home and put into action the plan she had thought up on the way. This little part personally she didn’t like, but she needed it to succeed, she needed to take advantage of Rafael and get his support or else everything could go wrong; she took her cell phone out of her purse and sent a message to Old Moretti.

Grandfather, today I met my husband, he seems to me an extremely handsome and charming man, I have given up the idea of divorce. I hope you forgive me for being so imprudent and that you can help me in my marriage, apparently I did not make the same good impression on my husband and he wants very much to separate and get away from me. We have been married for three years but even so far we have not been able to get to know each other, I just do not want to be away from him again, please do not allow it, I know you can do it and I promise to reward you with beautiful great grandchildren very soon. my happiness depends on you, please think of this granddaughter who loves you very much and feels very lonely. Sara read the message twice before sending it and felt her stomach turn at the thought of having children with this man. She mentally congratulated herself on how hypocritical she could be and then sent the message.

She had already set in motion the first phase of her plan to DRIVE HIM CRAZY now all that was left was to wait for the rest.
