Chapter 15:

The girl smiled when she heard Laura, she just needed to be given a free hand to get rid of that crazy woman. How dare she say she was married to the boss, with that simple way of dressing.

Obviously it would be none other than an affair that her boss would have on some drunken night, the girl recognized that Sara was young and pretty, but her attire and way of behaving were not up to her boss’s standards. In what way could she be his wife.

Sara saw the girl at the reception desk looking her up and down in disgust and smiling asked.

“So, can I come up?

“You wish ” replied the girl who had put the fake politeness aside. If her boss refused to see this woman it was because she was nobody important, so her manners were reserved only for people who deserved them.” for the last time I’m going to ask you to leave, if you don’t obey I’m going to kick you out. So you decide.

“Is that how employees treat visitors in this company?” asked Sara with a raised eyebrow.

“That’s how we treat freeloading bitches. Now beat it.”

“I see, what little manners there are in this company . They should do a cleanup and vote out so many bad people.”

The girl at the front desk motioned to two men in the corner and they approached.

“This witch is not welcome in the company, throw her out and don’t let her come back.”

The men each grabbed Sara by an arm and forcibly removed her from the building. Sara at first offered resistance, but the men’s grip was getting stronger and stronger and hurting her, so she let herself be dragged out.

Sitting in a restaurant across the street from the company, she pulled out her phone and made a call to the lawyer Rafael had assigned her the day before.

“Hello Mr. Castillo, I am at the company and I was not allowed to come in. Please come and if you can don’t come alone, I don’t think it will be easy to approach the company again.”

Augusto Castillo understood the message hidden in her words and after hanging up the call with Sara he called the rest of Rafael’s lawyers.

Twenty minutes later Augusto, Sara, the other four lawyers and 5 bodyguards entered the company. The two security guards could not stop them and as the 11 were heading for the elevators the same girl from the reception came to stop them.

She wanted to be rude to Sara again, but this time she did not come alone, she came with Rafael’s lawyers and everyone in the company knew them, so making use of her pretended courtesy she spoke to them smiling.

“Good morning gentlemen, I regret to inform you that you cannot come up unannounced and that the young lady is not welcome in the company”.

“You seriously think that the wife and owner of half of the shares is not welcome in her own company.” the girl paled when Augusto finished speaking.

As Sara smiled and they went up the elevator, but as the doors were about to close Sara stopped them and pointing to the two security and the girl at the front desk spoke.

“You guys are fired, I hope when I come down I don’t have to meet you again.”

The girl tried to say something but the elevator doors closed. Sara and the lawyers went up to the top floor, where Hugo’s office was located.

When they got out of the elevator Laura tried to stop them from entering but Alejandro arrived at that moment and pushed her out of the way. This was not a battle that they should be present in, it had nothing to do with them. It would be a duel of Titans and it was best to be as far away as possible to avoid being affected.

Hugo continued working while Matias in front of him continued talking non-stop, when suddenly the office door opened and Sara entered followed by Augusto and the rest of his grandfather’s lawyers.

“May I know what is going on here. How dare you come in without permission.”

“I’m very sorry Mr. Hugo it’s just that ” Augusto tried to explain and was interrupted by a hypocritical Sara.

“Honey, don’t be mad at us ” spoke Sara trying to put the sweetest voice she could, pretending to be a spoiled wife “it’s just that I wanted so much to see you but they wouldn’t let me come up. By the way you have to watch your staff more, they are very rude. But don’t worry I already fired the ones who prevented us from meeting.”

“But what the fuck are you talking about, get out of my office right now, before I call security.”

“Honey” Sara pouted and Hugo found her extremely ridiculous.

“De-ja.de-ja.de-lla-mar-mar-me-as-ya.” demanded Hugo towards emphasis on every syllable.

“Mr. Hugo ” interjected Augusto ” I’m sorry for the way you came in, but as Miss Sara was explaining to you, she wouldn’t allow us to enter”.

“Perhaps because she has nothing to do here.”

“There you are wrong dear husband” Sara made the quotation marks with her fingers in the air as she called him husband “but of course I have to do with the company, because not only am I legally married to you but my grandfather gave me 40% of the shares. So now you can call me whatever you prefer Wife or Partner, I’ll leave it up to you.”

“What the fuck are you talking about?” asked Hugo choleric while Sara only smiled.

“What the lady says is true, Mr. Rafael found out that you were not allowing his wife to enter the company and decided to give her 40% of the shares so that both of them would have the same power and there would be no more situations.”

“But my grandfather has gone crazy, how is he going to give away my shares and more to this …”. he was silent looking for the right word and Sara interrupted him.

“To your wife, darling, your wife.” he spoke in the sweetest voice in the world.

“Stop talking like that for God’s sake, you’re making me desperate.”

“I thought that’s how you liked women” spoke Sara recovering her usual tone of voice “wasn’t that how the lady who accompanied you the last times I saw you speaks to you?” and putting back her little girl tone she added ” oh my lolo, lolito”.

Martin who was still sitting in front of the desk watching all the trouble couldn’t stand the laughter anymore and let out a small chuckle, but seeing Hugo’s face about to burst he apologized.

“I’m sorry, you may continue.” and put a hand over his mouth holding back the laughter.

“Show me the documents ” demanded Hugo to the lawyer and he handed them to him after taking them out of a briefcase.

“Well, I’m leaving, I’ve accomplished my goal. See you soon CARIÑO”.

Sara turned and said goodbye to the rest. Hugo watched her leave and took a deep breath, he had definitely underestimated that woman and now he was paying the consequences.
