Chapter 33:.

“You should be careful Lolo, it is not well seen that a man and a woman enter a hotel alone, you know that people are very gossipy and immediately start rumors.

“I don’t understand what you could be interested in the rumors circulating between me and my boyfriend.” confronted Nina getting defensive.

“Of course I am interested in what they talk about my fiancé, don’t you see that because of you his image could be tarnished”.

The women began to argue and Hugo did not know how to stop the situation before it ended in a scandal, the last thing he needed was for his wife or his grandfather to replace out about it.

To his good fortune Martin and Eduardo arrived just at that moment.

“But what do my eyes see” spoke Martin arriving next to the trio.

“Hugo being besieged by two beautiful women. Ladies you should calm down and avoid scandals, Mrs. Moretti is not going to like it at all. Besides, I hear she’s a very good puncher.”

Martin didn’t have to say much, with his simple words he was able to put the two girls in their place, after all Hugo was already married and no matter how much they insisted on arguing legally he already belonged to another.

When the ladies calmed down the five of them entered the room, Angelín refused to leave and cancelled the date she had with her friends. The situation inside the private room was tense, Hugo took a seat, to his right Angelín was positioned while to his left Nina.

He didn’t know what to do so with a look he begged his friends for help. Martin ignored him for a few minutes, the truth was that he was amused by the situation, finally Eduardo appeared from him and asked them to change seats.

The women refused and Hugo, tired of all this drama, stood up and dragged his chair and sat down between Eduardo and Matias.

A few hours later they had dinner and talked, but Hugo’s plan was still not working, he still had not been able to talk to Nina and the night was still going on.

When it was twelve o’clock Angelín had to leave and finally Hugo saw the light at the end of the tunnel, but before he could talk to her his phone rang. Sara was calling him, he picked up the phone and came out of the private room to answer it.

“Hello” spoke his wife in a sleepy voice.

“Hi. Do you need anything?” he replied as he came out.

“No, I just woke up to drink milk and saw you hadn’t arrived. I was wondering if you were okay.” Hugo felt happy to hear her say that, she was finally starting to notice and care about him.

“Are you starting to worry about your dear husband already?” he tried to joke so as not to give away how excited he was.

“You wish, you know what, this was stupid, come back if you want, I’m going to sleep.” Hugo smiled.

“Don’t worry, I’m almost on my way to our home, I’ll finish with work and I’ll be right with you.” he tried to reassure her, but suddenly Nina’s head popped out the door and ruined everything.

“Hugo, honey, don’t take too long I want to propose a toast, besides the boys are asking for you.”

“I hope you enjoy your evening Mr. Moretti, don’t worry about going back to the Villa and attend to your guests.” ordered an angry Sara and then hung up.
