Chapter 37:.

A week had passed since the couple’s last meeting and the waters seemed to be calm on the surface, but a storm was forming and only Hugo and Alejandro were aware of it, both knew that this apparent calm was nothing more than an unmistakable sign that soon Sara would attack with everything, they only had to prepare for the attack and take out their best weapons.

It had been exactly one week since neither of the spouses had returned home and they were hiding from their partner. Hugo had moved temporarily to the company and worked day and night waiting for his wife to take the first step, every time he woke up he wondered if that was the day and what plan she had thought of to defeat him.

He spent the day nervously with his guard up, ready to deal with any trouble she might cause, but nothing happened.

Sara had taken the week to relax, spending her days quietly reading, shopping with Emily or in any banal activity that didn’t require any effort. Rafael had called her the day of the press conference, but she asked him to let her handle the matter in her own way and Elder Moretti agreed.

The course was about to end and Sara had used her last days to rest, before focusing solely on the exams.

A week later Sara had already concluded with all the pertinent tests to graduate and Hugo waiting two weeks and seeing that nothing was happening decided to lower his guard and stop worrying about Sara, after all she was just a college girl, she could do nothing to destroy such an important businessman like him.

“Sara now that you’re done with college what do you plan to do?” asked Emily to her friend as they walked through the college campus, after their last test.

“I’m still not completely sure” Sara answered her and then a mischievous smile appeared on her beautiful face “but before I think about the future, I have some business to take care of.”

“Are you going to see your husband?” questioned Emily.

“I think we have some business to attend to. But what do you say we first organize a party with some colleagues.”

“Okay, I’m going to invite them to dinner today, I heard about a new restaurant that is super trendy, they say the food is delicious.”

“Perfect, I want you to invite the closest, and the most outstanding students from each class, not just business, not just business management, I want everyone, from theater to literature , I want the brightest students to attend tonight, regardless of their social class.”

“What will it be that’s going around that little head of yours?”

“I can’t say yet until I have everything ready, you just wait.”

The friends walked away from the university making plans for that night and with high expectations for the evening.

At 8 p.m. a restaurant in the center of town was completely packed with the most promising young people and the future of the country.

The newly opened restaurant was quite popular so everyone was happy to have been invited. It cost Sara a lot of money and connections to rent the place and let it exclusively for her guests.

Sara spoke one by one with her guests and seemed pleased with most of the answers. No one outside the venue knew what was going on in there, nor the outcome of the alliances that were being created.

At the end of the evening the guests retired and Sara smiled in satisfaction, the first step had been taken.

When the first rays of the sun shone in the morning Sara came out of her room in the Campus wearing a black business suit, her long hair in a high ponytail and high heels.

She no longer looked like a college student, now she looked like a professional, her sensual figure attracted the eyes of all men and her poise and elegance dazzled them. She got into her car and drove to her husband’s company, as she did not have an ID and was not an official employee of the company she could not leave the car in the parking lot of the company and could only leave it outside. At the entrance Nadia was waiting for her whom Sara had called the night before.

“Good morning Mrs. Moretti” greeted Nadia.

“Sara, I prefer you call me Sara, and don’t be so formal, after all we will be spending a lot of time together. I asked you to wait for me outside because before I come in I want to warn you, I am only and exclusively here to annoy Hugo and by the way gain some experience.

The situation will not be easy and I am sure Hugo is going to do everything to make my life miserable, therefore yours won’t be any better, you have one last chance to run away and escape now, if you do I can’t blame you, but if you decide to accompany me you must be prepared.”

“Don’t worry Mistress Sara, I will be by your side no matter what.”

Sara smiled complacently and the two women entered the company, both dressed in black and looking beautiful ready to start the battle they entered with their heads held high.
