“You see, you know I want to get close to Hugo, but for that I need to know all his movements, I tried to buy some employees, but he is very distrustful and only Alejandro knows his agenda and has all I need, if you could just get a little closer to him, become his friend, I don’t know, I don’t ask you to do anything immoral or illegal, we just need information.”

“Don’t worry Ma’am, you can count on me.”

Answered without thinking Nadia, the truth would be quite a challenge to approach Alejandro, he was as closed and reserved as her boss, but it would be no sacrifice for Nadia, as she had always found him handsome.

After doing some research, she discovered a bar that Alejandro used to frequent after work, so when she finished her chores she also went to the bar and sat at the bar to have a drink, a few minutes later Alejandro also arrived and ordered a beer.

Nadia had been thinking for a while about how to approach him, what topic of conversation she should bring up, but to her surprise it was Alejandro who saw her and spoke to her.

“Tough day, isn’t it?”

“You can’t imagine.”

She answered and she wasn’t really lying, she had a lot of work to do.

“I bet it’s not what you imagined.”

Nadia looked at him without understanding and he explained: “To be the bosses’ right hand”.

“Well no, not really, I always saw you with Mr. Moretti and you seemed to have everything under control, which I thought was simple, but the truth is that it is far from it.”

“You shouldn’t complain, at least you have a kind and calm boss, instead I…”

“It’s true that Señora Sara treats us well and is kind to her employees, but she is a compulsive worker, she has no life outside of work and expecting her employees to be the same, it’s exhausting, I can’t remember the last time I had a date or went to the movies or had a lunch that lasted more than ten minutes and it wasn’t about work.”

Alejandro smiled, he understood well what Nadia meant, he knew it better than anyone; and so, unlike what Nadia had thought, the conversation with Alejandro flowed naturally, they criticized their bosses, they unburdened themselves, laughed and shared a couple of hours enjoying each other’s company.
