Chapter 99:.

A tall, muscular man with a small scar on his forehead and a perfect tan stood before her door, Beatrice had never seen him before, but something about him seemed familiar.

“Good evening” greeted the stranger.

“I know it may seem strange for you to come at this hour but I am General Montero and I am on a mission.”

He pulled out a badge and showed it to him

“I need you to allow me to enter your room.”

Beatriz opened the door for him without objection and the military man walked through.

“You shouldn’t be so trusting miss” he scolded her.

“In a few hours a target I’ve been chasing for years is going to be staying in the room next door and this room is perfect for spying”

Beatriz was very tired and the next morning it was her turn to take the stand, give a speech and then explain one of her recipes, she needed to rest so she watched the man taking things out of a backpack and simply said.

“As long as you don’t make noise there’s no problem.”

Without looking at him again she got into bed and covered herself completely and without much effort sleep overtook her.

Eduardo watched the woman sleeping peacefully still with a stranger in her same room, so many things could happen to her and she wasn’t even able to suspect anything, he stopped thinking about her and concentrated on his mission he had been chasing a major terrorist and mobster for 3 years.

The man was always too cunning to know his plans and his inner circle too tight there was no way to infiltrate, but today they had finally received a good tip that he would be meeting at this hotel with an arms dealer, so he had decided to go himself to check the information despite the refusals of his subordinates.

Two hours later there was still no movement from the criminal while the woman slept peacefully, Eduardo saw her move and the sheet was pulled over her, the robe had ridden up and her legs and part of her ass were exposed.

Eduardo got up and approached the bed, swallowing thickly as he saw her closer he took the sheet and covered her again, after all he was a man and there were parts of his body that he could not control, he had been immersed in work for a long time and he hardly had the opportunity to be with a woman.

A while later he heard some mumbling, he put the equipment on the wall, but heard nothing, minutes later they were heard again, but a little louder, the military man looked behind and saw that it was the sleeping woman talking, he could not understand much of what she said but two words were clear.

“Tobias idiot.”

Eduardo tried not to pay attention to what she was saying, and did so for another good while, until the woman stood up while talking, Eduardo noticed she was still asleep so he tried to lay her down trying not to wake her up.

He had heard somewhere that it was not good to wake sleepwalkers, so he tried to put her on the bed, but Beatriz resisted, with some effort he managed to accommodate her, but when he was moving away she grabbed him by the arm and threw him on top of her.

Then murmuring Tobias’ name she stole a kiss from him, the general knew she was dreaming, he knew she should pull away and that it was wrong to let herself go.

But her lips were so soft and she tasted so sweet that he found it impossible to resist and let himself be carried away by the girl’s lovely kiss.

Then he broke away, covered her again and went to his place, I wait for the whole night, but there was no movement in the next room, at dawn his eyes were heavy and he fell asleep.

Beatriz woke up at 6 o’clock like every morning and observed the man sleeping on the floor in a corner, she wondered what kind of work he could do while sleeping and quietly took a bath, got ready and left the room. He returned 15 minutes later left a coffee on the table near where the man was and left for his conference. Eduardo woke up a few minutes later, saw the empty bed and the coffee with a note.

The military man wondered if the girl was talking about the kiss or about his work, he did not give the matter any more thought and got up, he had to catch this mafioso as soon as possible, his bosses were pressuring him and threatening to take him off the case.

Eduardo looked at the coffee and considered whether to drink it or not, he had never drank coffee, it didn’t appeal to him, but considering it was a gift he didn’t think it was right to vote for it, so he drank it and to his surprise he liked the taste, he smiled and left the room while he drank the coffee.

His phone rang in his pants pocket, it was a message from one of his subordinates, informing him that they had caught a suspicious subject in the surroundings of the hotel and had confirmed that there would be an attack that day at the hotel in the conference room, the order had already been given to evacuate the hotel, reinforcements were on their way, but they were 15 minutes away.

Eduardo did not think twice and ran to the conference room, he feared that if the fire alarm sounded it could put the criminals on alert and they would escape, so he had to try to catch him as discreetly as possible.

When he arrived at the room he had indicated, he discovered that it was completely full, oblivious to everything that was happening, on the podium there was a table while a woman nimbly cut an onion, behind her there was a giant screen that showed everything she was doing and her voice sounded throughout the auditorium.

When she finished with the onion she began to say the next step and everyone present watched her carefully.

Eduardo recognized her immediately, she was the girl from last night, he observed her seductive lips and remembered the kiss, but something on her face caught his attention and it was a little red light.

At that moment Eduardo found himself in a complicated situation, he had two options, first, run and throw the girl to the ground protecting her from the Sniper or catch the criminal, if he saved the girl the man could escape, as well as his last chance to catch him, but if he went for the criminal there was a possibility that he would shoot before Eduardo got to him.
