The Abandoned Hunter
Chapter 206: The Demon Generals - Part 2

The black royal dress was looking extremely good on Jay. Anyway, now that they were ready, Alon teleported both of them towards the norther place where he mentioned about the demon generals earlier.

In the Netherland, there were four main classifications and ranks that had to be followed.

The first was – Demon King.

A demon king was the highest and the strongest ranking demon in the entire Nether realm.

No one was as powerful as him and he was the one who made the laws which had to follow by others.

The very next rank was – Demon General. It was basically a rank given to lead the army however later it become much more profound.

Now those ranks were only given to those who were powerful enough to stand beside the demon king and protect him and prevent any sort of plans or schemes against him.

Needless to say, being a demon king's general was probably what everyone tried to do, but only a few, one in a million would get that chance.

According to Alon, currently, there existed a total of three demon generals appointed by the demon king.

Those demon generals were the ones who messed with everything that was in their sight and they were the ones who worried about nothing else.

Whatever it may be, one thing was for sure, the demon generals were not just some random titles, they were honors that were to be respected!

After the demon generals were the rank of Demon Lord.

Sometimes the citizens of a country may call their kings - a demon king out of respect but that wasn't their original title. Their titles were Demon Lords – and Alon was one of them.

He was a demon lord who ruled over the north and east kingdoms – a total of 4 kingdoms that were merged based on the Demon Generals' orders.

Oh, a thing was to be mentioned, the strongest Demon Lords were given a larger area to rule under.

Although it sounded like they were the rulers of those areas, in reality, they were just under the demon generals who manipulated everything.

Jay could feel the weird sense of kindness from Alon so he was shocked to see that many crimes and cries could be heard in his territory.

He wanted to know if that was some sort of normal thing since the rules of earth and hell couldn't have been the same.

However, even before he could ask, Alon explained this when he mentioned the things about the ranks.

Whatever the case may be, Jay understood the hierarchy and the positions and came to know about the first three ranks.

"The last rank is for all other people…"

"Plebians…", was what Alon said.

"Huh? Plebians?", now that was something that Jay hadn't expected.

'Such a vulgar name for the last rank?', Jay asked himself when he heard that from Alon.

Basically, this showed that how rashly the people were being treated and nothing else.

"…", Jay didn't ask anything else for a while because hearing on that made him wonder about how the people might have lived here.

"All these naming were decided by our third king…", was what Alon said.

"The third king?", now this was something to hear about.

The first king which they thought about was Diablo!

The Dark Overlord was considered as their God instead of just a ruler, the same was for Diablo too but he was much more reachable than the Dark Overlord and showed lesser power than the Overlord.

That was why they considered him as their first king, of course, the other fact was that he was a demon.

Anyway, both of them stopped their chatter and teleported finally and arrived at the place which Alon had been mentioning since earlier.

"This is the place that-", Alon was about to show the place and introduce it to Jay when suddenly he paused when he looked at the place.

Fire, everything was covered in flames. One could easily see the flames and say that they weren't natural.

Natural flames emitted mana which was of the purest form on contrary to that, the flames emitted mana which wasn't that pure and was found within the demons.

Jay was also surprised to see how much the scene resembled the place where he had been earlier.

The place where the acro-demon was asking for help right before he died, that place was also engulfed in a similar type of flame.

*gulp*

Jay realized that the massacre that he had seen earlier was definitely linked to the demon generals.

That place was set up in a similar fire and after seeing Alon react in the way, he was sure that the demon generals were the ones that did this.

"Did the demon generals do this?", Jay asked to confirm it.

Alon looked towards him and nodded his head slowly. It seemed as if he was going to cry soon because of this.

Alon was not being kind to Jay just because of his powers, he was kind from the start.

When Jay intruded his place, he didn't attack Jay right out of the blue.

He waited for a few moments and looked at how much of a strength he had before actually fighting him.

It might have been seen as if he was just overconfident about his powers, however, that wasn't the case.

He just didn't want to make some stupid decision right off the bat. Also, he thought that it was wise to confirm if the opponent was an enemy before actually hurting him or her.

Jay could actually feel the pain that built inside Alon's heart at the moment. However, he could also see that Alon was hesitating to show that pain in front of Jay.

No one would show their weak self in front of others and absolutely not in front of their king!

In conclusion, Alon felt bad and this affected Jay.

Although he was being kind and humble all this time and hadn't shown his rage to Alon, he couldn't control it now.

Every time he closed his eyes, he could see the faces of those dead people.

He knew not why he was sad too, but he knew about the rage that was building inside him.

"I'm going to take care of them…", he said this and started to walk towards the city which was engulfed in flames.

"Wait your highness!"

"It's dangerous to enter the city when it's engulfed in flames!", Alon shouted.

Even for a high-ranking demon like him, the flames were hot enough to cause him a great deal of damage after all those flames were liberated by the Demon Generals.

So it made sense to worry about them, however, Jay was someone whose body wouldn't have been affected by the fire.

After all, his resistance to fire had gone up when he had arrived at this place. Also, he had walked inside a similar fire earlier, however, nothing happened to him because of his skill Blaze Sucker!

So why wouldn't he use that skill now too?

Of course, he would because that would put him in a much more advantage. He had planned such a thing since earlier but knew not that the cities would be on fire!

'Ding'

[ You have used the skill Blaze Sucker ]

[ Your… ]

As it had happened earlier, his body started to absorb not only the head, but also the fire.

The area where he walked, the fire started to disappear. Alon was completely shocked when he saw such a skill.

'Wow, what kind of skill Is that?', he asked himself, not that he knew about that.

Well, Alon didn't follow him and stood at the same place for a few seconds after which he thought that it would be best to follow Jay.

He could feel much safer while being with Jay for sure.

Jay didn't have much time to waste at the moment. He thought about rushing in and saving if any of the Acro-demons were alive.

'Ding'

[ You have used the skill Accel ]

Right after using the skill, he vanished from the area.

His speed reached its peak due to which it became much earlier to replace if anyone was alive.

Unfortunately, the speed wouldn't help him to replace everyone throughout the city!

It would take time for sure and who knows, life might be lost each and every second. So rushing was inevitable.

However, Jay thought that it would be better to use his system to replace the survivors!

"…"
