Suddenly, William suddenly pulled her into the men’s room next door and then slammed the door shut. In the narrow space, Sherry was held tightly by William. Staring at his sculpted face and listening to his dangerous tone, Sherry lost herself in his magic eyes again.

“Let go of me!” she hated what he was doing to her.

“William, where are you?” Suddenly they heard a woman calling from outside.

Sherry’s body shuddered. If anyone found them again, or if Lara discovered that she and William were together, she would feel unashamed!

“Mr. Rowland, I want to resign.” declared Sherry in a cold tone.

She was not a casual woman, and she never tangled with anyone. But William was bullying her.

William said nothing. He opened the door and walked out.

Sherry then became the only one left in the men’s room. She felt so much emotion in her that she really wanted to burst into tears.

Why did he treat her like this!

If fate messed with her, fine, jokes on her. But she shouldn’t have been a surrogate mother to begin with. Otherwise, she’d never be separated from her baby and lose track of that child!

Her eyes turning red, Sherry sat on the toilet and cried.

“Who’s in there crying?” A serious man’s voice came on. Sherry was so frightened that she stopped making any sound.

“Who’s there?” The voice was losing patience.

“Chairman, it may be a girl who has gone to the wrong bathroom! Please go back to the party, the young master is already there!”.

Another man’s voice rose.

Sherry froze in fear. She forgot it was the damn men’s room.

When Sherry finally got back to the party, Liam was here again. He almost didn’t recognize him when he saw her running out with her head down, “Oh, God, Sherry. You look beautiful, darling.”

Sherry looked up, directing her wet eyes at Liam. He froze for a second and gave a startled smile, “It’s really you! You’re an angel fallen from heaven! Why are you crying?”

In front of Liam, who liked to make jokes, Sherry still couldn’t smile from the bottom of her heart. She looked up at him, “I’m sorry, Mr. Brooks. I have to go.”

“The painting…” Liam was confused.

He dismissed the figure on Sherry’s back and started looking for William. It turned out he was surrounded by a group of women, laughing.

Another Monday had arrived.

Sherry approached Miss Hines with a waiver paper in her hand.

“Miss Hines. I want to resign.

She knocked on the CEO’s door a few times, angrily.

“Come in.” That was the coldest tone Sherry had ever heard.

“Mr. Rowland, I want to resign.”

“Why?” William’s eyes lacked emotion.
